CARLO'S BAKERY

A metà Maggio del 2011 io e mio fratello Andrea siamo andati a New York per visitare la fiera dell’arredamento ICFF ed incontrare il nostro rappresentante locale. Volevo assolutamente andare  a vedere la pasticceria da CARLO del Boss della Torte. La pasticceria CARLO’S BAKERY si trova a Hoboken al di là del fiume Hudson attaccato a Manhattan. Abbiamo preso il treno ‘PATH’ e sia arrivati in pochi minuti a Hoboken. A 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione c’è la pasticceria CARLO’S BAKERY. C’era molta gente all’esterno e all’interno. Io e mio fratello sia entrati e abbiamo preso le prime paste che ci sono capitate a tiro ‘pastarelle napoletane’. Ho comprato inoltre dei biscotti secchi da portare in Italia e due tazze del Boss delle torte. Non abbiamo visto nessuno della famiglia di Buddy….peccato…..

In mid-May of 2011 I and my brother Andrea went to New York to visit the fair of furniture ICFF and meet our local representative. I really wanted to go to see the CARLO’S Bakery. The CARLO'S BAKERY is located in Hoboken across the Hudson River close to Manhattan. We took the train 'PATH' and it arrived within a few minutes in Hoboken. A 5-minute walk from the station is the CARLO'S BAKERY. There were many people inside and outside. My brother and I went inside and bought the 'pastarelle Neapolitan'. I also bought some biscuits to take to Italy and two cups of the CARLO'S BAKERY. We have not seen any of the family of Buddy .... pity .....

Torta per la mia nipotina Martina che compiva un anno. Torta su due piani ricoprta con pasta di zucchero. Mi piace molto l'effetto colorato delle palline. La bambolina mi è venuta benissimo, sono bravo!!!

Roma Pasta alla Gricia

Nel mio viaggio di lavoro a Roma sono andato con il mio agente Nino e Zeno a mangiare alla trattoria 'Tram Tram'. Ho mangiato la pasta alla Gricia con mezze maniche. La pasta è la variante bianca della matriciana. Molto buona anche se un pò troppo pepe.

Choccywoccydoodah London

Vado spesso a Londra per lavoro. Adoro Londra ogni volta c'è qualcosa di nuovo e attraente. Nel quartire di Carnaby street vicino a Oxford Circus c'è lo shoow room di Choccywoccydoodah. Da poco hanno aperto anche un bar, che purtroppo per motivi di tempo non ho provato. Ho fatto alcune foto delle torte. Bellissime.

I often go to London for work. I love London every time there is something new and attractive. In the district of Carnaby street near Oxford Circus is the shoow room of Choccywoccydoodah. Recently they opened a bar, which unfortunately due to time constraints I have not tried. I took some pictures of the cakes. Beautiful.

TENNIS cake per matrimonio

Ho realizzato per il matrimonio di mio fratello Andrea e Ruena una torta a forma di campo da tennis.
nota positiva....era buona e soffice.
nota negativa....era troppo inzuppata e usciva il liquido nella parte sotto della torta.

positive note .... it was good, well soaked with the wet vanilla

negative note .... it was too soggy and out of the liquid at the bottom of the pie

CARS cake
